Free Crochet Blanket Pattern - Belle Baby Blanket

Hello to you all! With Christmas just around the corner i wanted to share this pattern with you so if you are stuck for a Christmas gift for a little one then you can whip this up in no time at all, perfect for gift giving.

This crochet baby blanket is very easy to do with a 2 row repeat the only tricky thing is fpdc stitches if you are a beginner or just not familiar with that type of stitch but once you get the hang of it there will be no stopping you for sure!

For this crochet pattern i used Paintbox Yarns DK Cotton* exclusively to Love Crochet which is perfect for blanket making with as it is soft to touch but still hard wearing unlike some acrylic yarns can be. You can purchase the yarn i used right here*

With this blanket you will notice it is quite 'holey' so if you are looking for a little thicker type of blanket for this time of year you could always use Paintbox Yarns Aran Cotton* this will make the holes in the blanket a lot closer together to make them smaller and thicker - Win Win! If you do decide to use thicker yarn please remember that the blanket will turn out larger than the size specified and you will need different amount of yarn.

All my patterns are written using US crochet terminology.

Cant wait to see your blankets, share them with me on social media #cherryblossomcrochet
